A Life Remembered

Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Donna Kelly, who peacefully entered God's loving arms on August 11, 2026, surrounded by the compassionate care of Stonewood Hospice in Port Arthur, Texas. Donna was born on April 13, 1948, in New York City, New York, to her dear parents, Frank and Clara "Inez" Kelly.

Donna grew up in New York, attending Brentwood High School and Suffolk County Community College. She dedicated 31 years of her career to the aerospace industry, working for Sperry, Unisys, Loral, and Lockheed Martin. Later in life, she made her home in Texas, first in Beaumont and then Port Arthur, where she continued her passion for travel by working as a travel agent for 10 years at Airport Travel Agency.

Donna was known for her vibrant personality and her fiery spirit, often matched by her beautiful red hair. She was a staunch Republican and an "ULTRA-MAGA" supporter, a conviction she held deeply and with unwavering passion. Her deep love for her family was evident in her devoted care for her mother, Inez, until her passing in 2011. Donna cherished her family, especially the many joyful "ladies nights" she spent gathered with her beloved Auntie Reba and her numerous cousins, creating cherished memories.

Donna is now reunited with her dear parents, Frank and Inez Kelly, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind a loving family, including her cherished "Auntie" Reba Tomplait of Port Neches, TX, and a vast circle of cousins who will miss her dearly.

Donna truly lived life on her own terms, with courage and conviction, and she faced her final journey with the same grace. While our hearts ache with her absence, we find comfort knowing she is now at peace. May God hold her in His loving care and grant her eternal rest in paradise.
