Dudley Richerson, a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on January 30, 1953, in Port Arthur, Texas, Dudley lived a life marked by passion and dedication. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years, Connie Richerson, who was his steadfast companion through life's journey.
Dudley found immense joy in fishing and was a passionate sports enthusiast. He was a devoted fan of the Texas Longhorns and the Astros, cheering them on with unwavering spirit. Among his most cherished memories were the times he spent coaching his son, Shane, on various sports teams, instilling in him a love for the game and creating lasting bonds.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Richerson; his brother, Darrell Richerson, and his wife, Gussie; his niece, Deanna Schanz, and her husband, Steve; and his nephew, Joshua Richerson. Dudley's warm spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all his family members, who will miss him dearly.
Dudley was preceded in death by many loved ones, including his beloved son, Shane Reagan Richerson. He also joins his father, Earl Richerson; his mother, Mary James, and her husband, Elroy; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Irene Granger; his father-in-law, Lovelace Menard; and his sister-in-law, Mona Menard. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
