Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Linda Siegelin, who departed this life on September 7, 2026. Born on March 16, 1947, Linda lived a life filled with warmth and affection, leaving behind a legacy of love for her family and all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched many throughout her years.

Linda found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly through her cherished hobbies. She had a passion for collecting, a pursuit that brought her great delight. Among her treasured collections were beautiful dolls, each holding a special place in her heart. Her love extended warmly to animals, especially her beloved cats and dogs, who brought her endless companionship and comfort.

Linda's memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband of 52 years, Gerald Wayne Siegelin of Port Arthur, Texas. She is also survived by her loving son, Jason Wayne Siegelin, and his wife, Kim, of Groves, Texas, who will carry on her spirit. Her beloved grandchildren, Jadyn Lin Siegelin and Jordan Wayne Siegelin, will hold dear the memories of their grandmother. She also leaves behind many other extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Preston K. Hendrix and Betty Hendrix, and her dear brother, Jimmy Don Turner. Though she has departed, her gentle spirit and the love she shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas 77627 followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm.

Linda will be put to rest at Houston Veterans Memorial Cemetery at at later date.
