Mary Lee LeJeune, born on December 16, 1946, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on June 29, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas.
Lee shared 60 years of marriage with her husband, Richard LeJeune. She was a retired Air Force spouse of 23 years. She dedicated 35 years of her life to government service, primarily as an Administrative Officer with the National Park Service, where her commitment and expertise were deeply valued.
A woman of profound faith, Lee loved the Lord with all her heart. She devoted her life to serving Jesus and joyfully shared His love with everyone she encountered. Her involvement with her church, LifePoint at Pinewood, and her cherished church family brought her immense happiness and was one of her greatest joys. Lee loved relentlessly, sacrificing for her family and instilling in them the importance of loving God and others, practicing forgiveness, and upholding respect and truth. She was a perfect example of true devotion.
Lee is survived by her husband, Richard LeJeune; her loving children, Traci LeJeune and Jarret LeJeune; her cherished grand dogs, Duke and Darcy; her niece, Maudie Rills and family; and the Newsome Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Vaadah Smith, Robert Denny, and Roy Smith; and her sisters, Bessie Shaff, Sybil Kittrel, and Ella Mae Broussard.
Lee's warmth, unwavering faith, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
